About Us

Who We Are

At First Fidelity Bank, banking means having a relationship with professionals that make your financial goals their top priority. Your banker is not only a professional confidante and trusted partner, but also a personal consultant to your business and family.  First Fidelity Bank functions as your CFO, your complete financial option (CFO).

Although First Fidelity has grown to 28 locations in Oklahoma and Arizona, we still have a small bank attitude. Our growth has provided us the ability to compete with the largest banks in the country. Our growing deposit base allows us the flexibility to make large, medium and small commercial loans to help your business grow. Professionalism combined with creative and prudent lending practices is how First Fidelity built its strong reputation. We work hard every day to out big the small banks and out small the big banks.

Pride of Ownership

From the days of handwritten ledgers in the early 1920's to our current hi-tech banking systems, First Fidelity Bank takes pride in its private ownership, high performance and industry leadership.

Headquartered in Oklahoma City, First Fidelity’s Chairman, Bill Cameron, and his sister, Lynda, have partnered with President & CEO Lee Symcox and Executive Vice President & Chief Communications officer, Suzanne Symcox, for ownership control.

Lee Symcox is a third generation banker, and the Camerons represent the third generation of ownership control of the nationally A+ rated insurance company, American Fidelity Assurance as well as other international holdings. Their primary interest is the American Fidelity Insurance Group, the largest Oklahoma domicile insurance company.

The Board of Directors is made up of Bill Cameron, Chairman, First Fidelity Bank and Chairman of American Fidelity Companies; Don R. Symcox, Vice Chairman, First Fidelity Bank; Ron Mercer, President and CEO, Mercer Adams Funeral Service; Tom Francis, Director of Enterprise Capital Investment Funds, Oklahoma Technology Commercialization Center; Kenneth Klein, President and CEO, Kleinco Construction Services; Kenneth D. The Past and The Future

First Fidelity Bank is a group of merged and acquired banks, the oldest of which was chartered in 1921 when it began as City National Bank and Trust Company in Norman, Oklahoma.

In 1989, Bill Cameron acquired Commercial Bank and changed the name to First Fidelity Bank, N.A. In 1992, First Fidelity Bank was merged with City National Bank.

Today, First Fidelity has 24 full-service offices, two (2) loan production offices and one drive-through office. The most recent expansion was in Phoenix, Arizona, where a full-service office was opened in April 2006. In June of 2007, the bank completed our acquisition of Scottsdale-based Western Security Bank, which significantly increased our presence in the Arizona market. First Fidelity has grown from $120 million to more than $1.1 billion in total assets in only 16 years, and First Fidelity is the third largest bank based in the Oklahoma City area.

With more than 400 employees, First Fidelity is very much a part of the community and we believe in supporting the communities we serve. The bank prides itself on our high quality of service and creative client solutions. First Fidelity Bank offers personal service that is difficult to find anywhere else, and we continually seek out leading edge products and financial services you might expect to find at a big bank.
